These noise blockers are adjustable and block out loud noises adequately. The earmuffs are an extremely soft padding material and are very comfortable.
thank you Peltor. I love these things to death and they are soooo comfortable. SILENCE. Oh, and they are MADE IN SWEDEN. Peltor has done it again with these muffs. i actually use these to work near extremely loud rackmount server computers which sound like jet engines until i put these muffs on and then. there is no stress on my ears or head wearing these, it just feels all balanced equally which is an important factor when needing to wear muffs for extended periods of time.
The only, and possibly unavoidable, issue is that the gear causes one's ears to get fairly warm. The product operates as described, lowering the noise from my lawn mower to quite reasonable levels. In hot weather, this can be somewhat uncomfortable.
He uses them when he works outside so his hearing is protected from the mower and trimmer. These are definitely better that his previous pair. Got these as a replacement for my husband's old ear protection. He tends to leave them on, and I have to visually get his attention sometimes.
He says they are the best ones he has ever had; they do cancel out the mower noise well. I purchased these earmuffs for my husband to use while using the riding lawn mower. I appreciate the fact that they are probably doing their job in protecting his hearing.
